my wife left interior light on killed battery tried to jump but too dead took battery had charged checked good put back in now the emergency flashers are flashing with out them being on everything electrical seems to work but will not start this thing was mr faithfull till now any body have any idea what it could be thanks for the help
this is in a 1998 mitsubishi montero 4x4

 

sounds like the alarm is keeping it from starting. not sure if your alarm has a valet switch or not, but try disabling the alarm and see if it helps. if your not sure, call the dealer and ask lol

 

thanx estraw, it was the alarm. it took calling 7 diffrent dealerships to find this out and 1 out of 7,,,, actually tried to help with out bringing the vehicle in...........
