Does anybody know where the IAT sensor is in a 2000 montero sport?? I bought a jex performance chip and it is supposed to be hooked up to the IAT sensor and I cannot find out where it is. PLEASE HELP ME

 

The IAT is built into the airflow sensor. Those "performance chips" are resistors thatalter your IAT readings and trick the PCM into thinking that the engine is inhaling cooler air.A waste of time and money.

Thank you. I figured for 20 bucks if it worked at all it was worth the money but the company that sold it to me won't reply to help so I guess i've learned a lesson. Any pointers on getting a few more ponies out of the 3.0? I love it though it is lacking in the power dept.
