Hi guys.

I'am installing a rear camera on my Montero with head unit AVT 6923 (CNE 6923). After taking off the head unit, I don't see a reverse gear wire (light detect wire).

Anyone can help me to locate where is the reverse gear wire for this head unit?

On the driver side door sill, remove the plastic and locate white and green stripe wire. that is the positive for reverse light. Well that is the wire on my 2005 Limited Edition.

 

I believe it is the same for 01-02 then again as mentioned above 03-05

however, i see i never recalled what color wire, but same location.
