Prior to my Pajero, I've owned quite a number of American cars, with a '07 Grand Marquis being the latest until it was totalled. They all had a feature I found rather convenient, whereby the interior lights would remain lit for 10 seconds or so upon remotely locking the doors.

I was just wondering - how difficult would it be to incorporate a timer delay into one of these beasts? Thanks.
