Default Keyless entry remote?
I need to get another keyless remote for my 99 Montero Sport LTD. They seem kind of rare on ebay. Will the remote from a 2000 to 2003 work? They look diferent.

as long as the FCC ID is the same, it should work. I bought mine on ebay for an 02 sport for 25 bucks. The Stealer wanted 225! I just saw 30 or more listed on ebay.

yes it maybe fit, but you may lose feature functionality, if 2003 remote has features not on 2000 remote.
