I am going to look at a 2000 Montero - auto, 6-cyl, 155000 miles, 2nd-owner. All bells and whistles. Very clean in and out. Owner states timing belt changed prior to him purchasing at 115,000 miles 4 years ago. Asking $3,100.00. Any words of wisdom? Anything in particular I should be looking for? FYI - I am a middle-aged woman and know nothing about vehicles except to drive and gas. My son will go with me, but is beginning backyard mechanic, so any help would be appreciated. Thanks!
