Default mice in my 91

I have a 91 5sp LS. The body has 298k on the clock. I replaced the engine about 5 years ago with a used engine from a Japanese engine importer here in the Bay Area. All was well until a mouse moved in and now I can't get the car to pass smog. I'm a car guy that does not have any issues with wrenching on my own cars. I really like this truck and I want to keep it ( I bought it new). I cannot find any mechanics in the San Francisco area that I trust. Taking something like this to a person I don't know is like giving him a blank check. It passed smog a 2 years ago and was only driven a few thousand miles since.

Any suggestions?

You got to figure out which wires the mice "clipped" and get them spliced back together. Its possible that they ate through the vacuum hoses too. That would affect some of the smog things.
