Montero Purchase ?

Montero Purchase ?
Hi,
I'm new to this forum and have a few questions regarding a Montero LTD?
I am considering purchasing one of these vehicles (possibly an '02 or and '03) I have read that Mitsubishi change the motor in the'03's so I am leaning more toward that model. Are there any other major pros/cons to owning an '03 over an '02?
Also, should I even be looking at them considering that I read on this forum that Mitsubishi is going to stop making the Montero's with the '05 model?
Any other info (good or bad) regarding a Montero LTD would be most appreciated in helping me make my decision on a new vehicle.
