Montero Sport 2002 transfer case
My college boy drove the sport once and returned it noisy, rough, and not driving correctly in AWD. 4H and 4L seem just fine. The dealer is looking at it now and is suggesting the transfer case has a problem. Now for the real question. Found a 1998 sport being parted out, is the transfer case assembly the same as a 2002? Thanks in advance for any educated guesses or knowledge.
