Montero Sport 2019 - Brake Dust
Hi All,
I have bought 2019 model Montero sport, brand new from Agency last week. It did almost 900 Km now. I have noticed it produces too much brake dust, all the 4 rims equally.
The alloys gets dark too easily and I have noticed some burn smell as well. Is it normal and expected ?

Excessive amounts of brake dust visible on wheels is usually result of super cheap aftermarket brake pads. Replace the pads with ether OEM or with a better midrange brand of pads and it should stop that from reoccurring. Brake dust is not good for you or for environment. Make sure to use brake cleaner to remove whatever accumulated everywhere. Don't breathe it it when working on brakes.
