So i picked up this Montero last week needing something to drive for the next couple months and i've already got the bug to modify fit.

Just replaced a few items like the sway bar bushings and sway bar mounts. The tires were cracked and I ran over some nails the first day I had it so I purchased some new rims and tires today along with a roof rack I picked up from Craigslist. Not sure what else it needs but the brake lights don't work and I checked all the fuses and replaced them.

 

did you check the brake pedal switch on your brake pedal that may need replacing to have your brake lights come on, it on your pedal under your dash

 

I like those wheels and tire combo, what wheels are those. and what size, has a nice rugged look.

no interior and engine shots?

 

We checked the brake pedal switch already and that wasnt it. Everything else works except the brake lights.

The wheels are Konig Countersteer Offroad 16x8 +0 offset with 265/70/16 Falken High Countrys.
