Default New Battery but No Power

I have an 2001 Montero Limited with a 3.5L. It's been sitting for a few months due to Transmission issues but now not getting power to even start it. I tried charging the battery with no luck. Took battery to get check out and they just replaced it but still nothing no lights anything. Tried jumping wires to relay box and engine turns over. How do I get to the main wires that feed the Relay box? What else to try?

There's probably a main fuse under the hood, check that first.

Then you need to check your ground from your battery to your block/body.

Then you should confirm you have a good positive connection on the positive side as well.

You may need to do a voltage drop test to confirm the cables are still OK.

There should be a diagram on the box that says what fuse is what...
They should also have numbers on them this one will be the highest... Sometimes fuses can be tough to get out.. You may need to use pliers to remove it, just don't go ape on it.

There are also fusible links that could have got fried if everything else is good.

Well I guess I went ape on it because I didn't know it was a bolt in type. The ones in the Relay box you could tell for sure but the one that attached to the battery is the one in question. So picking up a new one tonight however I don't see anywhere to open the box to get to the bolts. Any Idea's.

If all else fails, check the wiring harness on the firewall side of the engine; exhaust side... the wires tend to melt together causing all kinds of electrical issues.
