Mitsubishi Montero & Montero Sport This sport utility vehicle offers more size than the other Mitsubishi SUVs, but manages to keep a sporty look and comfortable feel, unlike many larger SUVs.

Default New to the Mitsu!!!

Hey everyone, the name is Chris and I'm on my way ( in a couple of hours) to pick up my 94' Montero LS. I am stupidly excited about it. I did a basic overall look of it and everything seems pretty good besides the lack of a radio and need of basic maintenance. Anyone have any Mitsubishi or Montero specific gremlins i could look out for?

Welcome Bama! I know what you mean, I'm a newb as well having recently picked up a 91' Pajero myself. Its all pretty intact and running but the tranny is bad. While I'm sourcing out a junk yard replacement, I have started stripping down the front end, replacing all the bushings, stock shocks (I know right!) rotors and CV's. No gremlin's yet! Good luck!
