I just picked up an 03 Montero XLS with 135k. I have two other cars and needed an SUV to haul odds and ends and my dog and possibly do some off roading in N AZ as well. I bought this from the 2nd owner that had it for 10 years and 90k. He seemed to take good mechanical care of the Montero but looking for an active forum to learn more about this SUV as well as some mods I can do to it such as possibly a light bar, from bull bar as well as just routine things to look out for on this vehicle. Is this a fairly active forum or do you recommend another forum as well to get the information I am looking for? I appreciate any help.
