I have an 02 xls @185k on the engine...got into an accident air bags didn't deploy that really bugs me because of the amount of damage done to the front end. Second I think the breaks failed because I couldn't stop and really had no control over my vehicle. This is the first time I have ever felt unsafe in my truck...I have been 4wheeling and all in this truck and never any issues...so here is my problem I m not sure as to whether to fix it or get rid of it. No engine damage or tranny still starts and run...what do you guys think?!?

Have you run any diagnostics on the rig to see why the air bags didn't deploy and the brakes failed? Did the ABS engage at all during your situation? Do you have an aftermarket front bumper that is not compatible with the crush zones on the frame? Are the repairs to the rig worth the time and money compared to a new vehicle?

Everyone was ok thanks for asking.

I bought it used from Quality Mist. it only had 30k miles on it and from what I know nothing on it had ever been replaced. I checked around after posting on here and found out that the 02 model has been reported by several people for air bag failure and break problems.

At this point Im just going to part it out.
