Default OBD ll CODE P0300

Please Help I have a 97 Montero SR with code P0300 ( Ramdon/Multiple cylinder misfire) and my question is What cause this problem and how can I fix it?[sm=helpout.gif]

Coil pack im willing to bet. Its something in the ignition system. Its either plugs/wires or the coil pack.

Thanks SEBBA for your reply, but for some reason the "check engine" light is off now and how easy is to change the coil pack?

Fairly simple... its on the other end of the spark plug wires... just unhook it... and replace it and hook eveyrthing back up... its that simple. Just make sur you put the spark plug wires back on in the right order.

It may just be your plugs or wires. I would change those.
