oil on alternater

Oil keeps getting on the alternator of my 2000 montero sport. I just replaced a second one and now it has oil on it. Can't see where it's coming from. Any ideas?

oil on alternator

I've replaced the seals and the valve cover seems dry but will keep checking. Thanks!!
