Hey all,

Brand new and glad I found this site before making a purchase. I'm looking to get an SUV to take to the mountains and for general errands around town. Read great things about the Monteros so I started looking.

Came across this gem

Drove it today. Smooth ride. Quiet. No strange noises, just a general sound when the AC is on. A few knicks around the outside where you can tell it's swiped a few things. Clean carfax, one owner, super low miles.

Is this too goo to be true? Any questions I should be asking about this thing? anything I should know about ahead of time?

Check with the owner about scheduled services...has the timing belt been replaced, belts, hoses, etc...what parts were used- OEM vs. China made? Did you run the transfer case through its paces? It should transfer smoothly through all of the drive modes (2WD through 4LWD).
They are great rigs!
