Not really... I am sure that it will go off if you fix whatever is causing the SRS light to go on. 
I know this is not helpful, but all kidding aside... Take your Montero to a local shop (doesn't have to be a dealer), they should be able to scan the codes for all systems and tell you what is causing the SRS light to illuminate. Any shop with a modern Snap-On scanner should be able to do this.
