I want to supercharge or turbo my montero....first i want to change my airfilter. someone have info ?

It would not be easy. Some 3000gt engines had turbo's. There are other differences on that engine too. Variable intake, etc. Also, the engine had oil squirters to keep the pistons cool. You would also need a new ECU computer. Don't know of anyone that has added a turbo to a V6 montero.

 

I went to England this summer and every Montero I saw over there was a Turbo Charged. I was really tempted to buy one but didn't know how to get it back home though. They also had a hood scoop also.

 

The Montero's you saw overseas were turbo DIESELS.. a whole different breed.
