Mitsubishi Montero & Montero Sport This sport utility vehicle offers more size than the other Mitsubishi SUVs, but manages to keep a sporty look and comfortable feel, unlike many larger SUVs.

Default Unknown Vibration

We own a 2001 Mitsubishi Montero Limited 4X4. We have noticed a moderate to severe vibration over the last several months when the vehicle reaches 65 mph and the transmission shifts into overdrive. The vibrations seems to be coming from the passenger side front tire. About a year and one month ago my fiance had a blow out, and ran off the road. This caused damage to the passenger side front wheel well splash guard and tore up the fender flare. The tire was replaced, and the vehicle drove just fine up until the beginning of the summer of 2012. That's when we started noticing the vibration. Thinking that a wheel weight had been slung off, we took it in for service. While there, we had the tires rotated and balanced. We also had a wheel alignment done. Upon leaving the shop, we immediately got on the highway and experienced the same issue. I am hoping that it's not an axle or transmission problem. Any help would be greatly appreciated...thanks in advance!
