Default Valve Lash Adjuster Installation

Hey guys, been lurking for awhile picking up some good info, but I'm having a problem and can't find an answer using the search function.

1990 Montero(base)
3.0 V6

I'm in the middle of replacing the head gaskets and figured that I would go ahead and check the valve lash adjusters for anything out of the ordinary(one was being noisy). Well, I figured that they would all be the same so I didn't make note of which adjuster came from which valve. A couple of the adjusters have a wider band in the middle of them and seem to compress quite a bit more. Any help figuring out where each of these go would be greatly appreciated. I can probably post a pic when I get home if that would be helpful. Also, I've only taken apart the driver side. I'll be more careful on the other side! TIA.

I just realized I can just look at the adjusters on the passenger side tomorrow and use my mental mirror to figure out where they go on the other side. Duh! Just a little tired.......
