I love these motors! The twin cams will do burnouts while powerbraking, and have never let me down on the trail. They are built like tanks underneath, and the rear locker axle? Way bigger and beefier than the non-locking one in the LS...

I have read that there are racers in Australia pushing 700 hp through these 4AW3 transmissions with no breakage at all, and if any of you have opened up one of these transfer cases, like I have, they are the strong link in this chain, it would take well more than 1000 horsepower to break one of these transfer boxes!!
