Where do I get OEM part numbers?

Where do I get OEM part numbers?
I have a long list of maintenance to do, the official manuals (from PIII) don't have part numbers, and I prefer to search by OEM number when I'm buying parts online.
Any suggestions?

Suggest you shop www.mitsubishiparts.com. They are the only dealer I'm aware of selling OEM parts at a good discount. Click on OEM Parts Catalog.
They don't list part numbers but will take your VIN and guarantee the correct part for your specific vehilcle. You can call their toll free and talk to a real person to get the part numbers - if you really need - but I've never had a problem ordering by description and VIN.
Good luck.

Thanks. I use www.mitsubishiparts.net, similar, but neither site is ideal. I like to shop, just can't do that as well as when you have the OEM part number. Searching by 'name' is problematic as every site describes things like 'rear cam seal' which is really a rear cam o-ring, and they'll confuse it with the front cam seal, which is actually a seal. Same problem with o2 sensors etc.
The question stands, does anyone know where to get OEM part numbers?
Thanks,
Jeff

This won't help in your case, but I like to go here to find manuals:
http://www.books4cars.com/listings.p...3000&type=Part
They currently have two parts books listed for the Montero, though one is for 83-91 and the other 92-94. Pretty pricey at $199 a pop, but it would have everything you'd need, if only your beast was of that vintage. The guy there Gregory Park is super-nice and he might be able to either find what you're looking for or put you in contact with the publisher of what you're looking for.
As for your immediate question, I'm afraid that I also go shopping for parts at the same places already suggested, and if you feel uncomfortable ordering without the exact part numbers, then maybe you could get those numbers from your local dealer's microfiche catalog.
Kinda sucks, but there it is...
