"Foggy" fog lamp?
Hi to all!
I`d like to ask, have somebody some experience/problem with original "valeo" front fog lights?
I noticed, that my fog lamps got some fog on glass inside, after use in drive. That fog looks like some light-gray smoke... The lights are working... Outside was -5 C`
My outie is 2008, DI-D 2.0 instyle +navi...

RE: "Foggy" fog lamp?
Looks like the light heated up and with the cold air on the outside caused it to fog up inside. I have never seen that happen before. The closest thing I have seen like that is a head light not being 100% sealed and caused condesation to build up on the inside of the light.

RE: "Foggy" fog lamp?
I already put a reclamation for that "foggy" fog light in service, they saw that "fog" and promised me, that they will solve that problem...
I go for the 1st service (at 7500km) next week, and I will see.
At the meantime, the fog lights glasses become clear... miracle! probably because outside temperature rise to +6 C`. But it should not happen anyway...
@rcpax my information is that my outlander come from Japan. It arrives to Serbia in August 2008 and had Valeo foglights.

If they're the same as mine, then the whole fog light unit pops out of the front of the car in order to replace the bulb (in the manual).. what I'd do if I were you is to take them both out, and throw them both in the oven on a very low temperature and bake them a bit to fully dry them out. Check and clean any seals where the bulbs are, and then reinstall them. That should stop the condensation.
