How do you stop receiving emails whenever there are new messages or posts on the forum? There's not a choice for that under "My Profile". You have to choose to either receive emails for new threads or new messages.

I'm on this site daily and usually read the new posts before i get home. My problem is that Idon't get to check my home emaileveryday. That means whenever i do check email i have like 5-10 emails about new MitsubishiForum posts that i've already read earlier in the day.

 

At the top of the window, hit the Unsubscribe button

 

So you're saying if I am "unsubcribed" then I won't get emails sent to me at home telling me there's a new post or thread? I'll try that tonight and see.

Will i still see new posts highlighted in bold black font when i log in to the site?

 

Thats exactly what I am saying.

 

You can go to "My Profile" and at the top hit subscriptions... then go to the bottom and you will see all the threads you are subscribed to.

 

Ok thanx. I'm not used to it being thisway. On the other forums i belong to there's usually a button to turn on/off to send email alerts.
