Default 07 display language after battery change?

I have a 2007 Outlander XLS that we have really been happy with. Until this summer when I replaced the car's battery for the first time. Old one out, new one in, in about five minutes. The car starts well and runs just fine, but the dashboard display starts out in Japanese and has some (but not all) menu items also in that language!

Another issue that popped up after this change was that the bluetooth link sound quality went to hell.

Any clues for me?

Many thanks, everyone.

Hi I have recently bought a 2006 Outlander that I love driving and the dashboard was in a different language you can change it by pressing and holding in the info button and it will come up with a menu that you can change it and you just use the info button, I just had a play around with it there is a lot you can do.
