Default 07 XLS 4WD - Seatbelt warning chime

I read a couple of posts inregards to disabling the seatbelt warning chime, but I'm not sure they apply to my vehicle. There is no single fuse that disables this chime without disabling other seat systems (heated or power functions) and there are several wire harnesses under the seat. My first impression is that each harness has multiple functions as well. As I do not wish to disable funtionallity of the seat... only the annoying warning chime, I was wondering if I could get some help on exactly what I need to do.

Thanks in advance

Are you not wearing the seat belt? Does the chime go away after awhile?

The chime will go away after 90 seconds... However it re-starts whenever you come to a stop and start moving again.
A total bitch... if I knew what wire it was, I would just clip it, and run it to a switch, i would mount beside the ASC switch.

but I dont know what wire.

Just wear your seat belt haha. If you can disable the chime it will be a plug under your seat. If the plug controls everything then you will have to figure out what single wire controls it.

Its not that I mind wearing a seat belt at all, Its more like an inconvenience at times... Like for instance, In the morning, I get up, and drive my oldest daughter to the bus stop, its in the subdivision, and only 100yards away, yet, If I dont buckle my damn seatbelt, I gotta hear that damn thing chiming non-stop... Or, if one of the houses that I built here in the subdivision needs to be shown, or someone left the light on in one of them... its like damn.... shut up, I am just going up the road...
I always wear my seatbelt if I leave the subdivision, or am out anywhere, but on little short trips like those, its more of a hassle than anything else.

Exactly. I don't mind wearing my seatbelt most of the time. That being said, the few times I don't choose to, I don't need the car trying to ram it down my throat. Again, if someone has some info on this, I would appriciate it.

Statistics show that most accidents happen close to home.
