Lightbulb 07 XLS Outie New Tires and TPMS

I would like to go to USA to buy 4 new Michelin all-season tires to replace the factory original ones on my 07 XLS Outlander. Also think about having them installed there as well.

How can I deal with the TPMS system? Do I have to find a Mitsubishi Dealer there to get it done? Of course they can reset the computer after installation. Can other tire dealer (like Costco) move the TPMS onto my new tires safely?

I'm probably wrong, so don't take what I say as gospel.

As long as the sensors are not damaged during installation, I don't believe that anything will have to be done. If there is a replaceable battery, maybe now is the time to have it done.

Best to read up in the owners manual or call/visit a Mitsu dealer and have a talk with a service-type person.

You can change your tires at any time. You run into problems when you replace the rims and the sensors are not installed on the new rims.

I had my tires replaced years ago at a local Firestone shop. No issues.

You are doing well if you are just now replacing your tires!
