Default Need help installing spark plugs 08 outander xls

I need info on best way to get at the "back" plugs under the intake manifold. Do I seperate manifold at junction of "plastic" and aluminum or take entire thing off? If I take entire intake off is there a gasket needed when reinstalling? FYI "front" plugs ezpz! Pain just for plug change. Thanks in advance.

I'm getting close to getting ready to change out my plugs as well...most likely next summer. My plan is to take the whole intake manifold off. This will also allow me to take the valve covers off and inspect the valve checks as well. You should check out the service manual for the '07...last page I have a link.

Rock Auto shows there is a Fel-Pro gasket out there, but usually the service manual says to use a RTV type of sealer. There are two very good ones out there, one is Yamabond 4 and one is called The Right Stuff. Yamabond is available at Yamaha shops. Do not get Yamabond 5...that stuff is crap. The Right Stuff I've seen at CarQuest. I need to do my upper oil pan
