Hey there. Here's a puzzling question for those that are smarter than me!

I have a 2005 2.4L JDM NZ import (second gen) that the info display (between speedo and rev counter) has stopped working on.

There is still some red/orange backlight coming from the display, but it is essentially black. everything else on the instrument cluster works fine, just no display. If I hold the info button I still get the "beep" sound.

I've checked all of the fuses and they are fine. It first happened a week ago and as a last resort I disconnected the battery for around 20 minutes and it worked again however, today it was blank again when I got into the car and fired it up and I tried the battery trick again with no luck this time.

Anyone had something similar or have any thoughts on what it could be causing the issue?

Did you ever get this fixed? I have this exact same issue, tried disconnecting battery, checked all fuses and still nothing.
