2006 outlander, does 3rd brake light have its own fuse?
2006 base Outlander. Lower brake lights work fine.
High brake light ( aka 3rd brake light) not working. Can’t seem to find a fuse location for it. Does it share a common fuse with the rest of the brake lights?
Research has only told me that the replacement light is expensive as hell. ( 250-300 bucks!). Ive seen aftermarket generic replacements which will most likely work. I’m just wondering if there is an easy fix. I’d hate to buy a light if its just a fuse.
In other news. Is there a trick to taking it off? I see one screw hole on one side that seems plugged with something. Ive heard rumors that its just glued on! Once I get it off I can get a multimeter on it and see what’s up.
Thanks in advance for any tips. T9
