Default 2007 - 2009 Outlander recall

Hi,

Just curious if anybody else received this recall:

"Mitsubishi has decided that a defect which relates to motor vehicle safety exists in certain 2007-2009 Outlander vehicles. Due to silicone grease possibly adhering to the stop lamp switch through incidental contact during production, the stop lamp switch could fail, resulting in inoperable brake lamps.

Inoperative brake lamps may fail to notify a following vehicle of the operator's intent to decrease speeds, which can increase the risk of a crash without prior warning."

My brakes have been working fine for the last 7 years (2007 Outlander) and I have no confidence in the dealership's service workmanship. I have a feeling my brake lamps would have a high probability being botched by the dealer when taking it apart, than leaving it as is. Thoughts?

Thanks.

I'll be taking mine in. got my letter last week. though, I'm in no rush. I know it works and you'd think it'd fail by 150k miles.
