Default 2007 Outlander: Where is that AC 115 outlet?

When we test drove one of the 2007 Outlander XLS fully loaded (navi, sun & sound, luxury) it had AC 115 outlet, but the one we got doesn't. While it's not a big deal, I am just curious why it's not there. Anyone else noticed?

The 115V Outlet shouldn't even be on the XLS. It's part of entertainment package which is offered only as a factory installed option for the LS. But what you've driven might be a demo vehicle. Although all of these options can probably be installed by the dealer at an extra price.

Hey, in Canada it comes with the NAVI option on the XLS, and you find the outlet INSIDE the central console. Weird location but it's there. I would think if you have the NAVI it should be there in yours as well, we have both a 115v AC and a 12v plug inside the console.

Ours is in the console as well but it doesn't work! You have to turn the outlet to insert the plug, still nothing?? Am I missing something?

Maybe in Canada, he didn't say he/she was from Canada so I thought we're talking about the US XLS here.

My US model doesnt have the entertainment package and I dont have the 115 house plug. Just 2 extra cig lighter spots in the car. One in the center glove box and the other in the rear by the 3rd row seating.

The Entertainment package in the US XLSis a dealer installed option in most cases, and the list of features in this package doesn't include a 115V socket.

Im just saying that is the only option I dont have and I dont have the 115 volt outlet. I have seen the outlet before on a LS model I beleive it was with the entertainment package. Thats all I know.
