Default 2007 Outlander Wipers not functioning

I recently purchased 07 Outlander and love it so far , we bought it with 75000 miles and it is up to 79200 miles and yesterday during the windshield washer function the wipers in the front stopped working . My mechanic and I tested the wiper motor found it to be functioning , the wiper switch is working , all of the fuses are working . We cant figure this out . If you toggle the wipers on and off you hear a slight clicking near the fuses . Its not sending the signal to the wipers.

I have heard of an etac control that when you go faster it adjusts the wiper speed . has anyone here had this issue and if it is the etac , can we disable the speed function maybe ?

You need to have a look at the service manual. Page 51B-23 has some test procedures that state there is a wiper relay on the ETACs-CPU. Perhaps that relay is faulty...and hopefully it is user replaceable. PM me if you need a link to the file.

Did you check the wiper linkage? Sometimes the plastic hub can wear out and pop out
