97 montero sport. wipers would not stop...

Default 97 montero sport. wipers would not stop...

got my answer for fusible links. Anyone knows why the wipers would not stop? along with my dom light and my radio dont work? all happened together when alternator put out too much...thanks

what old cars are you talking about? a 97 montero sport IS an old car....

true..true...But I am talking about the fusible links that actualy looked like "links:" piece of wire with a low resistance piece in the middle. Thanks anyways. Any idea why the Radio and the dom light would stop working all together? And the front wipers would not stop?

mitsu hasnt used those type of "links" in 17 years. They're AWFUL. be glad they dont.

the radio and dome light are powered off the "I.O.D" fuse, located under the hood in the fuse panel. Its two fuses in a yellow connector thats unplugged for shipping purposes, then plugged in once the car is sold never to be unplugged again.
one of the 2 fuses is blown.

and generally if the wiper motor doesnt shut off, its probably the motor itself. But dont just guess, have it diagnosed.

thanks. I took it to the dealership. They dont know what is wrong with it. I have to work on it myself. Do you happen to have a wiring diagram for that car? thanks
