2007 outlander XLS customizing question
Hey guys, has anyone had any luck / know where I can look for either of these two:
1) I have seen the Panoramic Sunroofs in many newer cars, but does anyone know if they can be installed into older cars, including my 2007 outlander?
2) The center console on my xls. If you look at the links i'm attaching below, i like the center console to be higher up, and give a bucket seat / cockpit type driverseat, but with the outlander it does not. Can I have it changed to where it looks more like the photos below?
Thanks!
Cockpit / bucketseats:

Panoramic roof I am going to say will be impossible or extremely difficult to do. First off, removing that much material from the roof is going to very seriously alter the chassis of a unibody vehicle like the Outlander. Secondly, it adds a lot of weight to the roof because of the heavy glass. This will raise the center of gravity and when combined with the now weakened and flexing chassis you could have a dangerous situation on your hands.
As for the console, best of luck to you, but I foresee that being a gigantic pain in the ***.
