How do you mod the DVD Player so that you can watch a DVD while driving? Sorry for not editing the quote.

Oh it's cool....it's just a simple re-wire like you'd do with any Navi unitl. I had the same thing done with my Pioneer AVIC-Z1. Any good audio shop will know what to do.

what they dont know, wont hurt them. And remember, According to all state, and federal laws, they can only remove the warranty for the part you have moddified, not the whole car. Like for instance, If I replaced my muffler with a chop shop, or pep-boys remian clearance special, Mitsu can deny any warranty claims on my exhasut, but thats it.
I installed a set of bazooka subs in the rear of my XLS, thus, if mitsu is going to deny an warranty claims, they can only deny those claims on the audio system. |

ORIGINAL: JMC Ok...looks like it can be done after my friend did some looking around. I hope to have this done by Friday. The problem is having the FastKey work with the remote start at the same time and not loose one. Also found out you CAN watch a DVD while driving with a simple mod. |

Hey....so watching a DVD while driving is working. I'm waiting to see what "part" my guy needs to make the remote starter work.

I had my remote start installed yesterday :D!! I have a two way 900 compustar that I took out of my VW Beetle. Compustar finally got the info needed from Mitsu to do the install. I have been PATIENTLY waiting since December 19th. It has only one quirk. It still recognizes the FASTkey but if you want to just turn the knob, I have to press the brake and it will kill the starter. Then you have to re-start the car. I thought it was weird that it had to work that way, so I removed the knob and inserted the tiny key from the FASTkey and it unlocked the steering column and starts just like any other car.

That rocks and gives me more hope...........it sounds weird that you have to re-start like that. My guys said they needed a part that would make the fastkey and the auto start work together.
