My heated seats are going pretty good by 5 min. Definitely doesnt take 10min+.

 

Mine go very well in less than 3 minutes. . .

 

Mine also work fine 4-5minutes for full heat, though I rarely use this embedded feature for in Athens we don't often encounter very low temp. say below 5 C. So I really don't know how effective they are in such freezing places like Canada or the north US.

 

Interesting observation dger, I have used mine in 11 ºC exterior temp, like minimum, with time that I mentioned. . .

 

You hit right on the button, When it's around freezing, it might take around 3-5 minutes, but at -30C (-22F) it will take atleast 10 minutes if not longer. I can only ompare to my father's Subaru Outback, it heats up much quicker even at very low temps, but he has cloth seats, that might make a difference.
