hi this morning my car started and then cut out straight away.

i tried to start it again but there was nothing no click either.

i opened the bonnet and it smelt eggy so i took the battery to halfords as i had a 3 year guarantee and got a new one.

installed the new battery and nothing.

ive tried tapping the starter with a hammer. well what i think was the starter .

i have errors on my dash saying
check 4WD LOCK
check oil

its a 2008 outlander elegance but ive had a turbo overboost fault for a while that i cant shift either.

my car cant get to garage till monday any help would be appreciated
