For some reason that looks just like the 07?

 

The upper door panels are different (same as 07 Euro models), the LS gets body colored door handles (07 had black) and the LS gets the FAST key. This is all I can see from the pictures. There might be more though.

 

door panels look as if they have fabric/leather on the side (above the armrests)

btw, this is Canadian version of 08

2008 outie arrives this week.
4cyl engine CVT in 2wd and 4wd
6cyl engine 6 speed in 4wd only

convenience package now included in all models.
price very similar (ie, XLS is increased by 700$)
optional sound system changed to 350W
keyless start in LS
3rd row available in LS

 

Thats the only difference is that little section of fabric? I was getting all anxious about parts I could put on mine haha.

 

The upper part is shaped differently - it flows with the lines of the dashboard instead of complementing the middle section (the silver part with the handle and power buttons).
So far, I think the door panels aren't worth replacing for me - I guess they would be too expensive with little gain. I wonder what other small updates they made. For instance I wonder if Mitsu did anything about tings likeput a plastic cover over the exposed bolt of the driver seat, better sunvisors or add sunglasses holder? The FAST key addition to the LS trim it's a nice touch though. I understandits sizeis smaller.From the pictures it seems like they didn't add Auto ON headlight feature (the one I miss the most on my car) so nothing to regret.

 

My Outlander has auto lights and self cancelling high beam at ignition off. The dealer can program the lights to stay on for up to 3 minutes so no walking up the drive way in the dark. They can also program the doors toauto lock at a said period of time.

mytrim in the UK is called warrior it’s the middle of the range It adds chrome trim round the headlights ,a-bar at the front. chrome door handles chrome door mirrorsand 18inch alloys. Would have been nice for Mitsubishi to add chrome exhaust trim it not even listed as a part, but all the official pictures in the sales brochure shows them fitted

I know the Euro spec Outlander (at least some of the trims) has Auto On/Off lights. The North American models only have Auto Off headlights.
