Default 2010 Outlander auto - Warning service lights??

Hi there. I bought my 2010 outlander a few weeks ago from a dealer.

The car has been perfect until after fuelling up when driving today my partner accidentally knocked the wheel from 2wd to 4wd. Then all of a sudden all these warnings came up and not they wont go away.

The warnings coming up are " ABS service required, ASC service required, $wd service required. The 4wd light is also flashing.

I dont understand what is going on, can anyone help? The car appears to be driving fine, so it makes me wonder if its a sensor problem?

Probably a sensor problem. We leave ours in 4WD Auto all the time. We had something similar to that happen after a very long trip...a rear wheel sensor had gone bad. The computer uses that sensor for ABS and AWD. Luckily we had that under warranty yet. The transmission just went into "limp home" mode.

Not a dime, it was under warranty. In the states, if you buy used, you get 5yr/50k mile warranty. Our sensor died at 45k miles. We have not had an issue since. If you search, I believe I posted the code that my reader could see.

You will find that it is a wheel speed sensor failure, I had EXACTLY the same thing happen to me a few weeks ago......

Find and replace the fault sensor and all will be well
