Everything I read says the outside mirrors of the XLS are heated but I turned on the rear defrost and the mirrors don't seem that warm at all (I could tell they were on in my Mazda by putting my hand on them) They don't seem to clear up water after the car wash like my old car and I don't see the little hot mirror icon printed on the glass like I am used to seeing...

Are there 2010 XLS / GT that don't have heated mirrors?

I don't really want to pull it apart just to look at the wires...

 

My 2010 XLS definitely has heated mirrors, the heated area is clearly visible, especially when mirror is fogged.

I never tried to touch them to see if they're warm though.

 

Does it have the toasty mirror symbol? Is only part of it heated?

I'll take my ir gun with me today...
