I found the Armstrong 4782 on Amazon.
but not sure where to get the ballstuds from, it's called 100mm meaning the length of the stud or is it the diameter of the ball?

Oh, post some pics of your install if you can!

diameter of the ball. I'm technology-challenged.

My install is exactly like the pics that Vadimus posted, only I cut a piece of fuel line lenthwise (about 6 in long) and put it around the washer hose to protect it.

Bought a Soki kit off e-bay and went to install it yesterday. Got the hardware installed clipped in the gas struts and then couldn't close the hood. The hardware just touches the hood - a bit nervous about it rubbing.

They are so powerful I'm nervous to really push down on the hood. Uninstalled them and then tried compressing them by hand against the ground - took a lot of force.

I may just return the kit and get parts to install using these instructions. Thanks guys.

Hey guy's how are the struts "holding up" haha?

I am about to order the strong arm but in my experience they come with the studs in the bags, doesn't it?

Thanks

Working great-no problems.

I am using the Strong Arm brand-24 inch long. Used ball studs from something I found, but you should be able to get the correct size at a well stocked hardware store.
