Default 2012 Outlander Bluetooth?

I own a 2012 Outlander SE (US model) and the buttons on the steering wheel do not work at all. Also, I do not have a USB port, just a pair of RCA jacks in the console. What I am wondering is.....do I have bluetooth capability or not? Any info would be greatly appreciated! Chris

Most likely you don't have it. RCA jack is Aux - nothing to do with BT.

No, you don't. Your car is "pre-wired" but you must buy the BT module, install it then tell your computer that the module has been installed.

I had to do this with my 2012 GT. Made it part of the sale.

If you want the comp;ete FUSE system (USB port in the arm rest) it will cost an additional $160.00 or so. But with the BT, you really dont need the usb.

When I get a chance, I'll post the BT module number for you.

The ports in the armrest are for the headphones.

BT module is MZ314537 did not find part no for USB, but here's the link http://www.partswebsite.com/mitsubis...=&sucatid=&p=4

The BT module is required for the USB. Don't know what is included, but it will be plug and play. Have it activated the same time the moduloe is.

cost ne $49.00 for BT install and I can play tunes from my iPhone thru it, soi have no real need for the USB port, except I could use it to charge phone also, but have 12 v usb adaptor in the arm rest. 2 ports-does my wife's and my phone.

Thanks for the information! I've googled bt modules and they are somewhere in the neighborhood of $320. I guess I will do without for now. Thank you again!!
