2012 outlander stalling hesitation issue
Recently had my transmission rebuilt on my 2012 outlander SE AWD 2.4L. Issue was occurring prior to transmission rebuild but wanted to let you know everything. When stepping on the gas, car will sometimes hesitate before accelerating, and I notice that it it’s not as fast as before, definitely sluggish. Also, I noticed that my gas has been depleting faster than before. I used to drive a week or so before refilling, not I have to refill every 3 days or so. When I accelerate, I dont notice the car shifting. It stays at 3-4K RPMS until I release the gas. I have changed my spark plugs, oil change, cleaned my mass airflow sensor, new air filter. Anyone have any other ideas? I was looking for throttle position sensor but i couldn’t locate one (not a mechanic, trying to diagnose on my own). After I cleaned the MAF the car seemed okay for about a day but stalling issues returned. Maybe i need to replace the MAF? Thanks in advance.
