2013 Outlander LS 2WD/AWD
Hi all,
I am interested in 2013 Outlander LS, still deciding between 2WD or AWD. I found few demonstrator with good price.
I have been discouraged by few recalls have been made to this car and also having read some finicky about CVT transmission. And I have to get an auto because wife doesn't drive manual.
How mature and reliable is a Mitsubishi CVT tranny? I currently own a 2004 Camry and never do a special service for the transmission apart from whatever done during scheduled service. Is CVT much difference in maintenance? Thank you for your feedback.

I really don't think that there's any inherent defencies in a CVT, just something different that we will have to get used to.
I had a 2011 with the 4 cyl and cvt, which I traded in for a 2012 w/V6 and conventional 6 sp auto.
Just like the power of the v6 and the towing capacity. Fuel mileage isn't significantly different.
go for the V6.
