Default 2014 Mitsubishi Outlander Disable Sport Hill Start Assist

Hey guys, I've tried looking around but haven't found anything helpful on disabling hill start assist. My car has a manual transmission and hill start assist is terrible. It holds the brake too hard and almost always causes me to almost stall the car not expecting it to be applying the break for a full 2 seconds after releasing the peddle. Any help would be seriously appreciated.

use your handbrake for a hill start. Then you have full control of clutch, revs and handbrake.
As you were not sitting there with foot on brake, therefore HSA will not be on
