I wrecked the passenger front a couple of years ago, ended up needing lower control arm, tie rod, sway bar link, new wheel and tire, washer tank, fender, headlight, etc.

I bought a pair of struts as I figured it was toast. After disassembling all the wrecked parts, the strut was fine, it hand only been sitting askew, but the way it was mounted allowed it to stay pivoted without damage. I still have the pair of struts for when I need them but didn't end up doing them as none of the spring compressors would work. You need a hydraulic press and blocks to get them out of the springs.

I'd say to take stuff apart before buying. Also a year later the inner cv boot on that side split, probably due to the stress and pulling during the repair (also it was 10 years old, but the other boots are still holding up ok).
