As the title states my 2014 outlander this week has started permanently keeping its dimmed lights on when. The engine is running which I've seen is associated to the body ecu having an error or the relays being faulty. This is after a particularly rainy week so I assume this may have something to do with it.

Ive also noticed that when i turn the engine off and am parked that the lights can be controlled again which I've haven't seen mentioned before and makes me wonder what the real problem may be. Any guidance would be much appreciated as I really don't want to change the globes super frequently to keep the car safe.

 

Which "lights", exactly -- interior, exterior, which?
